Went to the fair with son, his girlfriend and their friend Kyle. Kid obviously felt comfortable enough after only meeting me once to try a short joke. Let’s see you try that again, Sasquatch! (jk, I love you, Kyle!)

For the first time in our lives I feel the hubby is actually listening and taking what I say into account. Not only are we talking a hell of a lot more; but we seem to really be getting somewhere when we talk which is totally new for us. I also see signs of him making personal headway with his issues despite no weight gain in the last month or so. (Yayz for therapy!) Hopefully, the weight will start to come soon.
Hubby is continuing to gain. At least 3 Lbs. maybe as much as 6 depending whose scale you use. He’s getting a little jumpy, but I’m thrilled.
My son is a working man once again. After almost 3 yrs. of being punished for a crime he didn’t commit, the constant humiliation of being turned down over and over after aceing an interview; someone is finally taking a chance and giving him a job. Thank the Lord.
At the age of 22, his future can finally begin. I’m so happy for him and pray it works out.
Woman stopped me in the grocery store and said, “You look just like my friend, ****, except for the hair color. I really miss her. I’m going to call her as soon as I get home now.” I was all like…ooookay. “Good for you. Glad I could help, I guess?” Then we said our “Have a nice evening”s and went on our way. 🙂
So my son, who is drugged out of his mind because the pharmacy made a mistake and he has been getting approx 1 1/2 times the dose of meds he was supposed to get for the past 2 weeks; is highly entertaining. He kept me in stitches for a full 20 minute drive. 🙂
Despite everything, there are still things I see on the idiotic sites I frequent on the internet that can make me LMAO.
Hubby gained .4 lbs. Not much but still in the right direction.
Yesterday, hubby had the 1st real meal I’ve seen him eat in a long time. Crab cake, green beans, apple sauce and roll. He ate it all at the same time, on the same plate; like a normal person. There was none of this eating the crab cake and roll now then the apple sauce an hour later and then the green beans tomorrow. It was beautiful.
